Leighton B. U. Grey, Q.C.

Leighton Grey is the senior practitioner of the firm focusing his practice in the areas of criminal, family, and personal injury litigation.

Leighton earned a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) in 1989 and graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty Of Law in 1992. He then completed his Articles of Clerkship with the Federal Department of Justice in Edmonton before taking a hiatus to play professional hockey in Daytona Beach, Florida.

In 1995, Leighton entered into practice in St-Paul, Alberta, with Vital Ouellette who is a Justice at the Court of Queen’s Bench. In 2001, Leighton moved his practice to Cold Lake and formed a Partnership with Todd Munday in January of 2005. Leighton is on the Board of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, The Northern Legal Aid Appeals Committee and Spirit Keeper Youth Society. He was admitted to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2004 and is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and The Canadian Bar Association.

He has tried cases in the Provincial Courts of Alberta and Saskatchewan, The Court of Queen’s Bench, The Tax Court of Canada, and even The Alberta Court of Appeal.
